Our First Missions Conference

We recently had our first "mini"-missions conference!  Dr. Bruce McAllister was the key-note speaker and preached powerful messages from John chapter 4.  Our two newest missionary families, the Dan Baker family and the Steve Diachenko family, were with us and preached and presented their perspective ministries to our church.  The Bakers and Diachenkos are both going to North Queensland, Australia.  While both families will focus on reaching the lost in Australia, Steve will be church planting and Dan will be training local men to pastor churches throughout Australia. 

Pastor David Neal and his wife Laura were also with us.  Pastor Neal is the Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Harvard (not Massachusetts) but Illinois.  Pastor Neal preached the final message of our conference on Sunday afternoon.

Many thanks for everyone who worked so hard toward the success of this conference.  Many of our folks volunteered to help.  Special thanks to our Social Committee and the families who hosted the missionaries.  We are looking forward, already, to next year's conference.
